Dickerson Counseling Staff
Laura Dickerson, MA, LAC, NCAC1, SAP, is a Licensed Addiction Counselor and founder of Dickerson Counseling, LLC. She has an extensive background in working with families and at-risk youth for the last 20 years as both an educator and school counselor. Through these experiences she began to focus on chemical use and the struggles drug and alcohol abuse cause within family systems. At Dickerson Counseling, Laura provides counseling services for adults and teens.
Angela Otto, AA, LAC, is a Licensed Addiction counselor and native Kalispell resident. Angela graduated in 2013 from Flathead Valley Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in Substance Abuse Counseling, as well as an Associate of Arts degree with an emphasis in Human Services. Angela’s experience includes working with adolescents on an individual basis, as well as adults on an individual and group basis. Angela employs the Developmental Model of Addiction to offer counseling to adults, teens, and families who are struggling with addiction.

Mark Leitzel, MA, LCPC, is co-founder of Two Rivers Consulting. Since 1983, Mark has taught and counseled in schools and prisons, and has worked in therapeutic group homes and camps. He has developed school-based programs, home-based services, independent living programs, and has been a mental Health Consultant for Head Start. He is a Certified R.A.P. Trainer through Reclaiming Youth International and is a trainer for A.C.I. He develops intensive outpatient treatment programs for at-risk youth and families. Additionally, he is co-founder of Two Rivers Aikido, a school that trains people in the harmonious resolution of conflict, promoting peace and non-violence and is recognized as an International Peace Dojo.
Leigh Schickendantz, MA, LCPC, is co-founder of Two Rivers Consulting and is dedicated to seeing the sacred in the ordinary. Additionally, she is the Founder and Past President of the Healing Arts Project. Leigh began her work in the field of human service nearly 25 years ago in the domains of hospice and bereavement with a focus on contemplative disciplines. She has been utilizing Circle of Courage for over 10 years and develops and implements intensive outpatient treatment programs for youth and families at-risk. Leigh is also co-founder of Two Rivers Aikido, a school that trains people in the harmonious resolution of conflict, promoting peace and non-violence and is recognized as an International Peace Dojo.
